AI has made writing software faster. Now we need to transform the way we build product around it: how we decide, prioritise, learn from customers, align teams and launch features. We’re looking for someone to redesign that operating system at Xelix: the data teams trust, the customer feedback pipeline, and the ways of working that help Product, Design and Engineering move faster without losing quality.

This is our first dedicated Product Operations Lead role, built for someone who wants to build the infrastructure of AI-native product development, not just manage the process around it.

Today, too much of the information we need is scattered across tools and rebuilt by hand. This role exists to make high-quality product decisions cheaper and faster. You will do that by automating the operational work with AI, and by giving our Trios (PM, Tech Lead and Designer) a reliable, self-serve view of what is happening.

Two things make this role different from product operations two years ago. The first is that you are expected to automate your own function. Most of the coordination, collation and reporting that product ops historically absorbed should be done by software, and building that software is the job. The second is that our teams are changing how they build, and you will own and support that change for the Trios and Squads.

This is a build role. You will report to the VP of Product and work alongside Engineering, AI Engineering, Design, Services and Product Management.

This role is about being at the cutting edge of how AI-native products are developed and the teams that build them.

• Turn spec-driven working into a documented, taught and measured practice across PM, Design and Tech.

• Build and maintain the agent and skills library. Discovery, design, specification/requirements, launch, measure and learn. Most of these should now be skills and agents that teams invoke, not documents created and forgotten.

• Own the tooling our teams work in as a portfolio:
  Notion, Shortcut, Metabase, Gong and the AI harness layer we build agents on. Selection, integration, access, licences and cost, and retiring what stops earning its place.

• Partner with Engineering leaders in redefining the PDLC and SDLC, ensuring that Product and Design aren’t the bottlenecks in the new agentic development process.

• Train and support Trios in adoption and evolution of the PDLC and SDLC.

• Design one pipeline for customer evidence. Today it reaches us through several routes: sales and customer calls, support tickets, services during implementation, account managers after go-live. Consolidate the collection, classification and routing.

• The goal is that feedback is collated and summarised through automation. Your job is to build that system, evaluate it, and own the quality of what comes out of it.
