You will be part ofa squad within GBS UK Tribe whose mission is to provide IT solutions to support both the services of Euroclear UK & International and other CSDs within Euroclear Group. Our Tribe ethos is for business and IT colleagues to work closely and collaboratively. Our squads aim to deliver the most value to stakeholders/clients at the earliest opportunity whilst ensuring feedback loops are in place to continually improve the solutions and how they are delivered.

We are looking for a team member to support the strengthening of our business analysis and testing is an entry level role which will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to learn business analysis skills through training and on the job project experience.

Role

You will be part of a team within GBS UK Tribe. The Tribe is organised and structured so that business and IT colleagues work closely and collaboratively in alignment with the agile values and principles. Your team will aim to deliver the most value at the earliest opportunity whilst ensuring feedback loops are in place to continually evolve the solutions the team delivers.

Your responsibilities

Working alongside a Product Owner/Business Analyst within your squad you will develop the skills required to:

• Act as the interface between the business teams and IT teams.
• Understand the market and client needs.
• Gather the business and solution requirements by working with the business teams.
• Analyse and assess requirements to identify a business solution.
• Validate that the proposed technical and functional design meets the requirements.
• Produce and validate the scenarios needed to test the system.
• Perform execution of the various phases of testing.
• Support user and client acceptance testing.

Your profile

• Knowledge:
  • A keen interest in understanding EUI as a CSD CSD Regulation and the position of CSDs as FMIs within the financial markets post trade landscape.
• Skills:
  • You have a proven ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with your peers.
  • Excellent two-way communication skills (e.g. listening verbal written)
  • Excellent analytical/problem solving skills and a logical mind.
• Mindset:
  • Strong sense of ownership and management of the work you and your squad commit to
