Business Analyst - Regulatory & Controls Technology

Business Analyst, Regulatory Reporting Technology Overview Join  our Regulatory Reporting Technology team, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver solutions supporting global regulatory reporting obligations. You'll play a key role in regulatory change initiatives, data analysis and technology delivery across Capital Markets.

Key Responsibilities Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.

Translate business needs into technology solutions.

Produce process flows, use cases, functional specifications and data mappings.

Support regulatory reporting initiatives across MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR and other reporting regimes.

Perform data analysis and investigate reporting issues using SQL.Support solution design, testing (SIT/UAT) and implementation activities.

Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and efficiency.

Partner with business, technology and regulatory stakeholders to drive successful delivery.

Skills & Experience Experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services.

Exposure to Regulatory Reporting, Capital Markets or Regulatory Change programmes.

Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.

SQL and data analysis experience.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience supporting SIT and UAT.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR or transaction reporting.

Understanding of Capital Markets products and trade lifecycle processes.

Experience with in Investment Banking or Financial Markets technology environments.
