As a SAP Systems Analyst, you'll play a key role in MAG's ambitious Finance Transformation Programme as we migrate from SAP ECC to S/4
HANA Private Cloud.
Working within our Technology team, you'll help shape and deliver a modern SAP Finance and Procurement landscape, supporting core S/4
HANA functionality alongside integrated solutions including Concur, Ariba and Black Line. You'll work closely with Finance colleagues, Product teams, Solution Architects and implementation partners to ensure our future SAP ecosystem delivers the capabilities, controls and efficiencies required to support MAG's long-term strategy.
You'll be involved throughout the full programme lifecycle, from fit-to-standard workshops and solution design through to testing, go-live and post-implementation stabilisation. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving business challenges through technology, challenging design assumptions and ensuring high-quality SAP solutions are delivered.
As the programme progresses, you'll become a trusted technology partner to Finance and Procurement stakeholders, helping to optimise processes, improve user experience and drive continuous improvement across the SAP landscape.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Contributing to fit-to-standard workshops across Finance and Procurement processes.
- Reviewing and constructively challenging configuration designs and functional specifications produced by implementation partners.
- Taking ownership of defined areas of the SAP solution and ensuring design quality throughout delivery.
- Supporting integration design across S/4
HANA, Concur, Ariba and Black Line. - Gathering, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Participating in integration testing and User Acceptance Testing activities.
- Creating realistic test scenarios that reflect end‑to‑end Finance and Procurement processes.
- Supporting end‑user training and business readiness activities.
- Assisting with go‑live, hypercare and stabilisation activities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the effectiveness of the SAP Finance landscape.
What Will Make You Successful in the Role?
You'll bring functional SAP expertise together with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. You'll be comfortable working in a transformation environment and able to bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions.
