Summary
As the Device Platform Engineering Manager, you will own and be responsible for the engineering and service for all enterprise, end user devices and the endpoint management platforms across a multi-site, device-diverse Retail estate. This will include the endpoint management platform and device roadmap, engineering backlog, aligned to business priorities, target architecture and agreed engineering and service standards. You will lead and develop a high-performing team, including managed service partners, to standardise, secure and continuously improve endpoint engineering, operations and management services.
The role will deliver secure, reliable, low-friction device experiences for colleagues across Stores, Distribution Centres and Support Centre offices. Drive transformation targeting a standard, unified endpoint management capability and operating model, shifting the organisation from location/device-specific ownership to a one platform view across the estate, with clear guardrails for configuration, policy, packaging, deployment and lifecycle practices. You will be the platform owner, not just an endpoint admin.
A people leader, not just a technical specialist. A retail / frontline service designer, not just an office-device manager.
