Head of SAP S​/HANA Record To Report Transformation

The Record-to-Report (R2R) Workstream Lead is a senior functional and solution authority responsible for the global design, governance, and multi-country deployment of SAP S/4

HANA and integrated applications within the finance domain.

This role combines deep functional accounting expertise, strong S/4

HANA solution knowledge, and disciplined program governance, ensuring that business requirements are translated into scalable, standardized solutions aligned to the global template strategy.

The role will act as the primary decision authority for R2R solution design, including fit-to-standard, RICEFW governance, and enabling technology selection, while managing and challenging both business stakeholders and system integrators.

• Lead the end-to-end design of the R2R global solution aligned to SAP S/4
  
  HANA best practices
• Drive fit-to-standard principles, minimizing customization and enforcing standardization across countries
• Define and govern global vs. local design decisions, ensuring scalability for multi-country rollout
• Act as the design authority for all R2R-related processes, including general accounting, fixed assets, tax, treasury, costing, internal controls and reporting.
• Provide expert guidance on leading-practice business processes within the R2R domain
• Drive process harmonization across geographies
• Together with our S/I partners, translate business requirements into scalable S/4
  
  HANA functional and technical solutions
• Own and govern the RICEFW intake, assessment, and approval process
• Lead and oversee systems integrator (SI) delivery within the R2R workstream
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and design of integrated finance applications
• Act as the primary liaison across business, IT, business integrator, and systems integrator for R2R workstream
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment across work streams (P2P, O2C, etc.)

• 12+ years of experience in SAP Finance, with strong focus on SAP S/4
  
  HANA
• Proven experience as R2R Lead / Finance Lead on global SAP transformations
• Deep understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report processes
• Strong hands-on and/or design experience in SAP S/4
  
  HANA Finance (FI), Universal Journal (ACDOCA), parallel ledgers and accounting principles
• Experience integrating with consolidation and reporting tools
• Demonstrated ability to lead and challenge senior business stakeholders, govern and direct systems integrators and make design trade-off decisions under pressure
• Strong executive communication and decision facilitation skills
• Experience managing offshore/onshore delivery teams and complex stakeholder environments
