Role Overview :

As a Technology Transformation Consultant, you help clients make sense of complex business and technology challenges and translate them into clear requirements, practical solutions and tangible change. You work end-to-end across the transformation lifecycle, from discovery and assessment through solution design, delivery and adoption, partnering with both business and technology stakeholders. Your core discipline is business analysis, underpinned by a strong technical foundation in applications, integrations, data and technology services.

The role is ideal for someone with a technical background who wants to grow towards solution and architecture roles through client-facing problem solving, analysis and solution design.

Responsibilities:
  • Clarify client business and technology problems, desired outcomes, scope and suitable analysis approaches.
  • Plan and run discovery activities (interviews, workshops, document reviews) and analyse existing processes, capabilities, applications, integrations and data flows.
  • Elicit, define and prioritise business, functional, non-functional and data requirements, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and traceability to outcomes.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders, working closely with architects, engineers, data specialists, product owners and delivery teams to shape feasible solutions.
  • Support evaluation of technology options and contribute to future-state processes, solution concepts, architecture artefacts, roadmaps and implementation plans.
  • Facilitate workshops and produce clear client deliverables such as findings, process models, requirements, options, recommendations and decision papers.
  • Assist with delivery, testing, business readiness and transition, maintaining visibility of progress, decisions, assumptions, risks, and dependencies.
About the Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree (2.1 or higher) in Computer Science, a technology-related field, or a business/management-related discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience in client-facing consulting or professional services, delivering technology-enabled change.
  • Strong business analysis skills across discovery, requirements definition, process analysis, solution development and delivery support.
  • Solid technical foundation, able to understand applications, integrations, data flows, non-functional requirements and solution options; prior software development or engineering experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to translate between business and technical audiences and work credibly with architects, engineers, product teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Skilled at bringing structure to ambiguous problems, facilitating effective workshops and producing concise, decision-ready outputs.
  • Possession of, or interest in, recognised qualifications (e.g. BCS BA Diploma, IIBA CCBA/CBAP, TOGAF or equivalent) is advantageous.
  • Exposure to data-related change (strategy, governance, quality, migration, platforms or analytics) is beneficial but not essential.
