This is a unique opportunity to help shape the next generation of analytics solutions, combining Power BI, application development, and emerging AI technologies to create innovative, client-facing products.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Power BI & Application Developer will:
- Develop and enhance client-facing analytics applications, reporting tools, and data products
- Design, build, and optimise Power BI dashboards, visualisations, and reporting solutions
- Integrate AI technologies, large language models, and agentic workflows into innovative applications
- Drive the transformation of traditional reporting outputs into scalable, product-driven analytics solutions
- Create executive-level dashboards that deliver meaningful insights and support business decision-making
- Partner closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Architecture teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Lead client demos, presentations, training sessions, and solution walkthroughs
- Develop intuitive user experiences that simplify complex analytics and maximise business value
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong expertise in Power BI development, including DAX, dashboard design, and reporting best practices
- Solid SQL skills with the ability to work across complex datasets
- Experience developing applications and customer-facing digital products
- Exposure to AI technologies and integrations with large language models
- Experience implementing agentic AI workflows and automation solutions
- Knowledge of Model Context Protocols (MCPs) and their practical applications
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven experience delivering executive-level reporting and analytical solutions
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
