Static Engineer

We’re hiring for a Static Critical Cooling Engineer to join a specialist team supporting a major data centre in Canary Wharf. This is a site-based role maintaining high-tech CRAC and chilled water systems within a mission‑critical environment – with all tools, parts, and support available on site.

It’s a technically focused position suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys problem‑solving and working in a clean, professional, and well‑resourced environment without the travel.

You’ll be maintaining and fault‑finding on CRAC units, DX systems, and chilled water plant. You’ll carry out diagnostics, electrical testing, and planned maintenance, ensuring reliability and uptime in a critical cooling setting. Training is provided on hybrid and adiabatic cooling systems, with technical support from a wider UK engineering team.

• Proven experience with CRAC, chilled water, or DX systems
• F-Gas certification (essential)
• Confidence with controls, electrical testing, and advanced diagnostics
• Experience in data centres or precision cooling preferred, but not essential

• £45,000 – £50,000 basic salary (flexible for the right person)
