We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect with a strong focus on core cloud platforms, infrastructure, and security to join the Cloud Architecture Team. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of Schroders cloud platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, develop cloud strategies, and drive the adoption of best practices in cloud computing.

You will be part of the Enterprise Cloud Architecture team working across Azure, AWS and on premises platforms and services. You will be the principal cloud architect and subject matter expert for cloud, responsible for architecting a best-in-class cloud platform across both Azure and AWS public cloud service providers, ensuring that developer and business user experience is always at the forefront of your mind when architecting and designing cloud solutions.

You will join a highly technical team who are solely focused on building a leading-edge cloud service who are integral to successful cloud adoption maturity.

• Design and develop scalable and secure cloud architectures based on industry best practices, focusing on core cloud platforms, infrastructure, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions.
• Accelerate the cloud first strategy through strong architectural building blocks and reusable Cloud patterns.
• Develop solutions that provide a great engineering user experience from conception through to production go live.
• Partner with the Dev Ops CI/CD Toolchain team to ensure that Cloud requirements are incorporated in the toolchain.
