A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a Cyber Security Associate to join its growing Proactive Security function. The successful candidate will support both Privileged Access Management (PAM) and broader security engineering initiatives
, helping to strengthen preventative controls, improve cyber resilience, and reduce security risk across the enterprise.

London / Hybrid
Must have UK citizenship / ILR Visa / EU settled status

Key Responsibilities Privileged Access Management

Support and maintain a large-scale Cyber Ark environment.
Manage privileged accounts, service accounts, SSH keys, certificates, and application credentials.
Design and maintain role-based access controls aligned to least privilege and Zero Trust principles.
Support platform upgrades, disaster recovery testing, and service improvements.
Develop automation to enhance onboarding, reporting, reconciliation, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with application and engineering teams on secrets management and credential security.

Security Engineering

Assist in designing and implementing preventative security controls across infrastructure, identity, applications, and cloud environments.
Support the evaluation, integration, and onboarding of cybersecurity technologies.
Work closely with technology and security teams to deliver security improvement initiatives.
Develop scripts and automation to improve security operations and control effectiveness.
Identify control gaps and recommend practical security enhancements.
Support platform maintenance, resilience testing, and technical lifecycle management.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience in Cyber Security, Security Engineering, Infrastructure Security, or Identity Security.
Knowledge of Privileged Access Management concepts and Cyber Ark technologies.
Understanding of Identity & Access Management, credential lifecycle management, and Zero Trust principles.
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, and enterprise networking.
Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, remote access technologies, and network security concepts.
Scripting experience using Power Shell, Python, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Azure, AWS, or cloud security experience.
Dev Sec Ops , secrets management, and CI/CD security.
Financial services or regulated industry experience.
Security certifications such as Security+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, or Cyber Ark certifications.
Experience implementing and improving enterprise security controls.
