Linux Sys Admin

Our client is one of the world’s leading systematic trading firms – A company at the

cutting edge of finance, technology and quantitative analytics.

In London they’re growing their Infrastructure teams and are looking for an experienced, senior Linux engineer to join them.

You’ll have the chance to work on some of the most sophisticated trading systems in the world, write your own software, file systems and tools as you see fit and work with some of the brightest, most creative people in technology and finance.

Current projects include creation of a new, bespoke file system, automaton of monitoring and observability systems and bare metal provisioning.

You’ll need exception Linux knowledge, experience of large clusters, good networking and solid programming skills.

The company have a very high bar and can offer an incredible challenge for any technologist, coupled with industry-leading renumeration.

• Proven, deep, Linux knowledge – Kernel-level, bare metal, large clusters
• Excellent understanding of systems administration and engineering, networking and file systems
• Strong automation knowledge
• Ideally solid OO programming skills – Java, C++, Python etc
• A passion for learning and problem solving
