We’re looking for a Senior Security Architect to assess and define the baseline security architecture underpinning a major programme spanning local, regional, and national delivery models. This is a hands‑on architectural assessment role — you’ll be evaluating options, surfacing risks, and producing clear, actionable recommendations that inform how security is designed and delivered at scale.

• Assess baseline security architecture requirements across the programme.
• Evaluate architecture options for local, regional, and national delivery models.
• Assess security tooling dependencies, with particular focus on Microsoft security, SIEM, and identity services.
• Identify architectural risks associated with centralisation.
• Assess the technical feasibility of proposed approaches.
• Assess multi‑tenant and shared‑service approaches.
• Identify dependencies and technical constraints across the architecture.
• Produce clear, well‑evidenced architecture recommendations.
• Map Microsoft Suite alignment to the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and wider government security frameworks.

• Active SC Clearance — mandatory for this role.
• Demonstrable experience as a Senior Security Architect, ideally within large‑scale, multi‑tier (local/regional/national) delivery programmes.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft security tooling, SIEM platforms, and identity services.
• Experience assessing centralisation risk and multi‑tenant/shared‑service architecture models.
• Familiarity with the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and wider UK government security frameworks.
• Strong analytical and risk‑assessment skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear architecture recommendations.
• Experience working within public‑sector or similarly regulated environments.
