The Cyber Security Engineerwillbeinstrumentalinimplementingsecurityinitiativesincollaborationwiththe Cyber Leadsandwillplayapivotalroleinenhancingtheoverallsecurityposture .Additionally,therolewillsupportthefirminitspursuitofISO
27001certificationandtheimplementationofCIScontrols.
Roles responsibilities (not limited to):
- Maintenanceofthe Crowd Strikeplatform ,includingconfiguringEDRpolicies,tuningSIEMrules,andoptimisingthesystemforperformance.
- Workwiththenetworkengineerstoimplementposturemanagementi.e.ICE/NACsegmentation/lateralmovementcontrolandfirewalls.
- Proactivecollaborationwith Info Sectoalign Crowd Strikeandotherkeysecurityplatformswiththesecuritystrategyandpolicies .
- Leadingorparticipatinginincidentresponseefforts,conductingrootcauseanalysis,anddevelopingrunbooksforincidenthandling.
- Monitoringforsecuritythreats,analysingalerts,andrespondingtoincidentsusing
Crowd
Strikeandothersecuritytools.
Conductvulnerabilityscansandsupportremediationandriskmitigationefforts
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience across key security disciplines, including vulnerability management, security operations, incident response, security tools and technologies, risk management, and wider cybersecurity engineering activities. A strong cybersecurity background and a proven track record in security-focused roles is essential, ideally within a regulated industry.
