Data Analyst; Mobile Backhaul

Position: Data Analyst (Mobile Backhaul)
Hays are looking for a strong Data Analyst to support the planning and forecasting of Mobile Backhaul (MBH) demand across the national mobile network.

Up to £400 p/d Inside IR35
Hybrid Working
Location can be London or Reading
6 month+ contract
Responsibilities:
- Gather, cleanse and analyse large, complex datasets
- Maintain forecast vs actual demand data and update demand models
- Maintain and publish the National Mobile Backhaul Demand Plan
- Build analytical reports and provide insights to stakeholders
- Automate repetitive data and reporting processes
- Ensure data accuracy, version control and controlled reporting

Key skills:
- Advanced Excel
- Strong data analysis and modelling
- Experience working with large/complex datasets
- SQL and/or Python
- Power BI or Tableau
- Data/reporting automation experience
- Telecoms, mobile network or backhaul knowledge is desirable, not essential

Ideal background:

Data Analyst, Planning Analyst, Demand Analyst or Capacity Analyst, ideally within telecoms or another large-scale technical environment.
