A growing insurance company is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support the design, build and optimisation of its Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cloud infrastructure, landing zones, automation and security best practices across a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
- Expertise across Azure services including:
- API Management (APIM)
- Strong experience with Microsoft Entra and hybrid identity solutions
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
, ARM or Bicep - Expertise in Azure governance, security and best practices
- Experience with cloud migrations and infrastructure modernisation projects
- Strong Power Shell scripting and automation experience
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, load balancing and security controls
- Experience working within regulated enterprise environments
- Previous Insurance or Financial Services experience
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender and Sentinel
- Experience implementing Zero Trust security principles
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Rate: Up to £700 Per Day (Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Initial 3 Months
Location: London EC3A / WFH Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP (up to 4 weeks notice considered)
