Job Title: SAP Data Migration Lead
Location: Europe
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
We are seeking an experienced SAP Migration Lead to lead the end-to-end data migration workstream for a retail client in Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the migration strategy, coordinating data activities across business and technical teams, and ensuring data is migrated accurately and successfully in line with project timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the overall SAP data migration strategy, planning and execution.
- Define migration methodologies, data mapping, cleansing, validation and reconciliation processes.
- Coordinate data migration activities across SAP functional teams, business stakeholders and technical resources.
- Oversee mock migrations, testing cycles, cutover planning and final data loads.
- Manage migration risks, issues, dependencies and reporting to the wider programme.
- Ensure data quality, integrity and readiness for go-live.
- Proven experience leading data migration work streams on SAP implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP data migration methodologies, tools and best practices.
- Experience managing end-to-end migration cycles, from data extraction and cleansing through to cutover and reconciliation.
- Retail industry experience is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Spain, starting ASAP.
