What you'll doYou will operate as the governance and control counterpart to the firm’s overall citizen development agenda, effecting change primarily through collaboration. You will be part of the Digital Trust Office. You will have two key remits: you will own governance and control for how colleagues across the firm build using AI tooling; and, you will work with networked capabilities group to help align to the same governance and controls.

On the first remit, you will take the firm’s citizen development governance framework from a set of proposed measures to a working system of accountability and then supporting and enabling the teams to deliver against the firms’ agenda. Three areas are addressed are: can colleagues build easily, are we safe while they build and share, is the spend justified? Based on these, you will create target metrics and sub-metrics across the entire citizen development journey, from awareness through build and deployment to handover and maintenance.

You will not own those measures yourself but will make sure each one has an owner who is accountable, who reports against it, and who understands how their part connects to creating value for the firm. On the second remit, you will establish governance and controls for networked capabilities. Because many of the deliverables are client-facing, this requires a thoughtful, balanced approach: controls must support safe, accountable delivery without slowing client work unnecessarily, while also ensuring the firm is not exposed to unnecessary risk such as in the pursuit of delivery speed.
