THE ROLE Responsible for defining and governing the enterprise Configuration Management Database (CMDB) strategy, architecture, and data governance framework across the organisation.

The role will lead the design and continuous improvement of the Service Now CMDB, Common Service Data Model (CSDM), Asset Management, Integrations, and technology data governance capabilities. The individual will ensure that configuration, application, infrastructure, cloud, service, and asset data remains accurate, trusted, auditable and aligned to business and regulatory requirements.

The role acts as the strategic authority for Service Now metadata, configuration management standards, service modelling and data quality across the enterprise technology estate.

The role requires understanding and implementing solutions that satisfy financial regulations such as DORA, PRA and Operational Resilience requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES CMDB Strategy
· Define and maintain the Regional & EMEA CMDB strategy, roadmap and operating model
· Define and maintain the EMEA CMDB strategy, roadmap and operating model
· Lead the design and implementation of scalable CMDB data models aligned to Service Now best practices and CSDM.
· Establish architectural standards (such as TBM and BIAN) for business services, applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms and business service mapping.
· Ensure configuration management capabilities support End of Life, Operational Resilience, Financial Reporting, Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management objectives.
· Drive adoption of service-centric architecture through service modelling and dependency mapping.
