Cyber Security Project Manager Hybrid - 4 days on-site p/w in London Inside IR35

Are you a Cyber Security Project Manager who enjoys running several technical security projects at once, from firewall remediation to Zero Trust and AI security?

We're recruiting for a contract Cyber Security Project Manager to join the IT risk, security and control function of a leading global financial services organisation. You'll deliver a portfolio of cyber security projects across its banking and securities businesses, working closely with infrastructure and IT security teams.

It's a broad, hands-on delivery role with real technical influence: as well as keeping projects on scope, time and budget, you'll help evaluate and recommend the security tools behind them.

What You'll Be Doing Managing the delivery of multiple cyber security projects to agreed scope, cost and timescale

Translating regulatory requirements and best practice into business-aligned cyber security programme requirements

Producing roadmaps, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, change requests and requirements traceability

Delivering initiatives such as firewall rule remediation, network segmentation and Zero Trust, DLP and DSPM, and AI security controls

Working with infrastructure, IT security and third-party suppliers, and reporting to senior stakeholders

Providing technical guidance, including evaluating and recommending cyber security tools and technologies

What You'll Bring Strong experience as a Project Manager or Technical Delivery Manager within a technology or cyber security team Hands-on delivery of cyber security technology initiatives, including firewall rule remediation

Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 and PCI-DSSExperience running several complex projects at once, including supplier and third-party risk management

Confidence engaging and reporting to senior stakeholders

Desirable:
Tufin or firewall governance and automation, AI security governance (prompt monitoring, model scanning, Shadow AI controls), micro-segmentation, Email and Web DLP, DSPM, cloud security compliance, phishing awareness programmes, EoL/EoS remediation, EBA-ICT and FFIEC

this role needs four days a week on site in London.
