Service Now SOMT Architect
London (Hybrid)
6 Month Contract
£550/day (Outside IR35)
Service Now SOMT Architect needed for a 6 Month Contract in London (Hybrid). Must have strong SOMT (Sales Order Management for Telecommunications) expertise.
Hybrid Working - 2 to 3 days/week remote (WFH) and the remainder of the time working from the office in London. Paying up to £550/day (Outside IR35).
Working with a global IT Consultancy supporting a leading Telecoms end client. Start ASAP in October/November 2026.
- Stong hands-on Service Now Architecture + SOMT (Sales Order Management for Telecommunications) expertise.
- Service Now Architect to lead the design, architecture + implementation of Service Now Technology Service Operations Management (SOMT) solutions.
- Defining scalable IT Operations architectures, driving observability, AIOps initiatives + enabling proactive operations through Service Now SOMT modules.
- Strong Service Now ITSM, IT Operations + Enterprise Monitoring.
- Architecture & Solution Design: defining end-to-end Service Now architecture aligned to enterprise IT Operations strategy.
- Implementation & Delivery: leading implementation of SOMT solutions across large enterprise landscapes, monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Azure Monitor, AWS Cloud Watch), CMDB data sources.
- Technical Leadership: acting as Technical Authority for SOMT solutions and best practices, mentor developers, administrators + consultants on SOMT architecture and standards
- AIOps & Observability: design + implement AIOps-driven event correlation and noise reduction.
- Governance & Optimization: define SOMT governance, standards, and architectural guardrails.
- Technical Environment:
Service Now, ITSM, SOMT, CMDB architecture, data modelling, Service Now Scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs), Network, server, storage, cloud, HLDs, LLDs + architecture diagrams.
