This is an Apple and IT support role first. If you're the person who can rebuild a Mac, configure a fleet of iOS devices, read the logs and fix the network when something fails 10 minutes before doors open, read on. Event experience helps, but strong Mac and networking skills matter most.
What you'll do- Set up, configure and troubleshoot Mac and iOS devices powering AR activations, including AR mirrors and wearable AR glasses
- Be first line support for hardware, software and network issues during live events, keeping downtime to zero
- Prepare and maintain event kits: devices updated, charged and configured before shipping
- Make sure venue network and setup meet the technical spec
- Explain technical limits clearly to non-technical staff and stakeholders
- On office days, handle pre-production planning and technical consulting for upcoming events
- Manage local vendors when travelling solo
- Guide and support a junior technician on the team
- Strong Mac skills: reinstalling and upgrading macOS, configuring iOS devices, working in Terminal and reading logs
- MDM experience, ideally Jamf
- Solid networking:
Wi‑Fi and LAN setup, DHCP, speed tests and fault finding - 3 to 5 years in IT support, desktop support or technical roles, ideally including events, tours, product launches or onsite deployments
- Confidence working under pressure and on your own
- A people person who builds trust quickly with producers, vendors and venue teams
- London office 3 to 4 days a week when not travelling
- Travel up to 40 to 50%, mostly EMEA, with 1 to 2 US or APAC trips a year
- Evening and weekend work during event peaks
