Hackney, the internal talent team for the London Borough of Hackney, is urgently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Delivery Manager to join our team and expand our delivery capacity during a pivotal period.

With multiple critical projects launching concurrently and an upcoming regulatory audit, we need a proactive delivery specialist to take end-to-end ownership of implementing key modules across our NEC system ecosystem. You will operate in a fast-paced, regulated environment to keep cross-functional teams aligned, manage complex change, and drive technical integration from initial scope straight through to successful go-live.

• Take end-to-end ownership of project delivery across multiple active NEC system modules from initiation through to go-live.
• Lead large-scale system and platform implementations, managing cross-module dependencies, technical integration points, and critical paths to ensure synchronised deployment.
• Coordinate with technical leads and system architects to align module configurations with core business requirements.

• Drive complex change management programs across impacted teams and business areas to ensure seamless adoption.
• Build, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans while tracking key delivery milestones across all active work streams.
• Implement robust change control processes and maintain active RAIDD logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, Decisions) to mitigate delivery roadblocks in a fast-paced setting.
• Ensure full operational readiness and compliance in preparation for regulatory audits.

• Serve as the central point of contact for business stakeholders, external vendors, and internal technical teams.
• Provide transparent project status reporting, performance dashboards, and executive updates.
• Lead cross-functional operational working groups to drive accountability and keep individual module deliverables on schedule.

• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), operational readiness checks, and formal sign-offs across each module prior to release.
• Monitor project resource allocation, budgets, and vendor deliverables against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Project / Delivery Management Background: Proven track record as a pure Project Manager or Delivery Manager driving complex delivery programs.

• Change Management: Strong experience navigating and executing complex organisational and process change management programs.
• Regulated Environments: Experience delivering at pace within fast-paced, highly regulated environment settings.
• NEC Systems Knowledge: Direct hands-on experience managing and delivering within NEC system environments across multiple concurrent modules.
