Portfolio Analyst

A great opportunity to join a fast‑growing Insur Tech that is transforming how brokers and insurers trade, analyse and monitor portfolios in a digital marketplace.

You will sit at the heart of the analytics function, working directly with brokers, carriers and commercial teams. This role combines portfolio analysis, pricing support and real‑time deal monitoring.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing broker facilities, delegated arrangements and consortiums.
• Supporting actuarial pricing, profitability and performance analysis.
• Producing analytical content for broking submissions and deal structures.
• Monitoring live deals including pricing levels, loss activity and portfolio mix.
• Leading quarterly reviews with carriers and surfacing actionable insights.
• Working with data providers and helping develop internal analytical tools.
• Acting as a technical point of contact for underwriting and pricing queries.

To be considered, you MUST have relevant (re) insurance industry experience.

Ideally, you bring:

• Experience in actuarial pricing, reserving, portfolio management or exposure/cat modelling.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with visualisation tools (Power
  
  BI, Tableau or similar).
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work with commercial and underwriting teams.
• Bonus:
  Python, VBA or .NET.
