Job Description & How to Apply Below
LOSS ASSESSORS - LONDON / HOME COUNTIES - 40-70K DOE
We are working with an established and expanding property claims consultancy who are seeking experienced Loss Adjusters who are considering a move into Loss Assessing. Opportunities are available across London and the Home Counties due to continued growth.
Why Consider Moving into Loss Assessing?
Many professionals who have transitioned from insurer-side adjusting to policyholder representation describe it as a more rewarding and client-focused career path.
Instead of working to insurer reporting targets and KPI frameworks, you’ll represent policyholders directly — guiding them through what is often one of the most challenging periods following property damage.
This role offers greater autonomy, stronger client relationships, and the ability to ensure customers receive their full policy entitlement.
The Role:
You will manage residential and commercial property claims from initial instruction through to final settlement.
* Claim values typically range from £50,000 to £5m+
* Flexible hybrid working model
* Dedicated administrative support
* Autonomy to manage your own caseload
* Backed by an experienced and collaborative team
Experience Required
Loss Assessor level:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Loss Adjuster
Senior level:
* 5+ years’ Loss Adjusting experience
In addition, you should have:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence handling a varied and sometimes complex caseload
* Excellent client-facing ability
* A calm and professional approach
* Strong organisation skills, particularly during high-volume periods
Package & Benefits
* Basic salary £40,000 – £70,000 (experience dependent)
* Performance-related bonus
* Company car
* Laptop and mobile phone
* Ongoing training and professional development
If you are an experienced Loss Adjuster considering a move into policyholder representation, this could be an excellent next step in your career.
If this position is of interest please ensure you attach an up to date CV with your application.
We value all applications, however, due to volume numbers we are only able to contact candidates whose skills and experience closely match the requirements of our clients.
In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility.
