Business Analyst

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading organisation within the General Insurance market, based in London.

This role requires strong, hands‑on General Insurance expertise and a proven track record of delivering change across key insurance functions including Claims, Underwriting, and Finance.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business and technology change initiatives across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse processes, and deliver strategic solutions that support operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

• Lead requirements gathering workshops across Claims, Underwriting, and Finance teams
• Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation (BRDs, FRDs, process maps, user stories)
• Analyse and improve end-to-end insurance processes
• Support system implementations, enhancements, and transformation programmes
• Work collaboratively with IT, third‑party vendors, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to testing phases including UAT support
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst within General Insurance
• Demonstrable project experience across:
• Claims
• Finance
• Experience delivering change within system implementations or transformation programmes
• Strong analytical and documentation capabilities
• Experience working within London Market or Retail Insurance environments
• Exposure to policy administration systems or claims platforms
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting General Insurance
