Insurance Account Executive - International Construction

Your Responsibilities

Our dedicated Global Construction Practice offers bespoke, targeted insurance solutions across multiple sectors. This includes real estate development, mining, energy, ports and terminals, and transport infrastructure. The Construction practice are an experienced group of individuals who have a wealth of experience across a broad range of construction risks. International Construction is primarily wholesale business that is introduced from the Global Lockton network so you will be responsible for building strong working relationships with the local regional offices across our Global network and the clients that they represent.

As an Account Executive your primary role is to build and maintain excellent working relationships with our clients to ensure that we are providing the best service for all of their insurance needs. This will also include fostering close working relationships with our Brokers and wordings and claims experts.

You will be responsible for an allocated portfolio of new and existing clients to support their ongoing insurance needs and renewal process. This will include supporting strategy meetings with clients and our expert Brokers, preparing market submissions, analysing renewal information, looking for opportunities to provide enhance or additional services and tracking client policies through the renewal process.

• Building strong partnerships with your allocated portfolio of clients and contacts in the local regional Lockton offices across our Global network.
• Proactively track client renewal periods, premium payments and any losses
• Analyse renewal information to prepare market submissions
• Provide client feedback to contribute to client review meetings and renewal strategy
• Prepare policy documentation including working with our Energy wordings expert for any bespoke clause wording
• Support the claims team on any major losses

• As an Account Executive in the International Construction team it would be desirable for you to have experience of working on Construction or Property business from a Broking, Underwriting or wider Insurance background
• Experience of working with a Global insurance network will be beneficial
• Demonstrable experience of working on insurance facilities will be beneficial
  
  Experience of preparing market submissions and policy documentation will be beneficial
• Due to the nature of the role you will need to be organized, proficient in using Microsoft office and be comfortable communicating with a wide range of clients and colleagues
• Desire to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team in a growing organisation
