URGENT CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY - Claims Quantity Surveyor

Ceto Talent is currently supporting a client on a major offshore decommissioning project and we are looking to speak with experienced Claims Quantity Surveyors who can start at short notice.

This role will be responsible for managing and assessing contractual claims, ensuring they are properly prepared, evidenced and negotiated to protect the contractor's commercial position.

• Claims - Quantity Surveyor
• London office / Hybrid working – 3 days a week office / 2 WFH
• 6‑9 month contract
• Outside IR35
• Negotiable day rate – Open to discussion
• Start ASAP

• Analyse contract documents, project plans and correspondence to identify potential claims and commercial risks
• Prepare and submit claims for variations, additional costs and extensions of time
• Review subcontractor claims against scope and identify the correct cost and time elements of changes
• Prepare pass through claims to the client incorporating contractor elements
• Quantify and substantiate claims using evidence including site records, schedules and cost data
• Work closely with project teams, contractors, clients and legal advisors to resolve claims
• Support negotiations and dispute resolution processes where required
• Maintain clear records of claims and associated documentation
• Provide advice on contractual risk, claims strategy and commercial matters across the project lifecycle

• Strong background working as a Claims Quantity Surveyor or Contract Advisor, with proven experience managing contractual claims and entitlements.
• Previous project experience within offshore decommissioning or offshore construction / installation projects.
• Existing right to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
• Ability to work from the South West London office at least 3 days per week (non‑negotiable).

We are particularly interested in speaking with Claims Quantity Surveyors or Senior Commercial Professionals with experience across offshore energy infrastructure projects.
