What you will be doingIn this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting Internal Audits across the Ki Group companies and Syndicate, with a primary focus on Underwriting, Claims, Solvency II, and other significant risk areas affecting Ki. The role necessitates collaboration with stakeholders and Internal Audit teams to identify key risks, evaluate Ki’s risk management strategies, and propose solutions to enhance the effectiveness of Ki’s control environment.
Whatyou will bring to the role
We are looking for an Internal Audit Senior.
You’ll be qualified (ACA or equivalent) with a comprehensive understanding of the controls necessary for a General Insurance Group, Lloyd’s Managing Agent, and Lloyd’s Syndicate to effectively manage risk. Your experience will include working within a relevant professional services organization, such as an auditing firm, or within a robust operational insurance organization. You should be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of both underwriting and non‑underwriting support functions, along with a solid knowledge of the Sarbanes‑Oxley Act.
Furthermore, familiarity with operational risk management techniques is vital, including an understanding of risk appetite, risk registers, risk scoring and prioritization, control risk self‑assessment, and the role of risk committees.
