London (Hybrid) | £65,000 to 80,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance

The RoleYou will lead a team responsible for improving risk pricing performance across a home insurance portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and prioritising team workloads to support profit and growth objectives.
- Analysing policy, quote, claims, loss, and market data to identify pricing opportunities.
- Developing new insights through the use of data, analytics, and innovative methodologies.
- Reviewing and challenging predictive models developed by actuarial and data science teams.
- Determining how model outputs should be combined within pricing algorithms to maximise commercial performance.
- Identifying customer segments where pricing strategies can be enhanced.
- Building and maintaining automated tools that generate new pricing opportunities.
- Partnering with underwriting, actuarial, data science, data engineering, fraud, and commercial stakeholders.
- Representing the pricing function on wider business and underwriting initiatives.
- Coaching, mentoring, and supporting analysts within the team.
- Strong experience within insurance pricing, risk analytics, or a related commercial analytics function.
- Knowledge of general insurance principles and risk management concepts.
- Strong coding and analytical capability, with Python experience preferred.
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets and derive actionable business insights.
- Experience evaluating statistical or predictive models and translating outputs into commercial recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Curious, proactive approach with a genuine interest in driving change and continuous improvement.
- Experience leading or mentoring analysts and supporting team development.
