I'm working on a Reinsurance Pricing Actuary opportunity within a specialist actuarial team, offering a great combination of pricing, modelling and technical development
.
The role will have a particular focus on treaty pricing
, developing and maintaining models within Python and Tyche
, alongside broader actuarial analysis and model development. You'll also work closely with underwriting, exposure and specialist teams to improve the modelling of complex risks and support wider business decision-making.
- Treaty pricing and pricing model development
- Building and enhancing models using Python & Tyche
- Model validation, sensitivity analysis and governance
- Developing and improving existing actuarial tools and processes
- Working closely with underwriting and exposure teams
- Applying statistical techniques to the modelling of complex and specialist risks
- FIA qualified actuary
- Strong actuarial modelling and analytical experience
- Background ideally within GI, reinsurance, pricing, capital or exposure/risk modelling
- Strong Excel/VBA skills
- An interest in coding and developing technical modelling capabilities
- Reinsurance experience and knowledge of SQL would be advantageous
