Circa £32,000 We're currently recruiting for an experienced OIC/MOJ RTA Claims Handler to join a growing legal services and claims team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting customers through challenging circumstances and has experience managing their own Road Traffic Accident (RTA) personal injury claims caseload . You'll be responsible for progressing a varied portfolio of litigated and non-litigated claims, working closely with customers, legal representatives and internal colleagues to achieve fair and appropriate outcomes.

About the Role As an OIC/MOJ RTA Claims Handler, you will:
Manage your own caseload of RTA personal injury claims from start to finish. Handle both litigated and non-litigated claims. Progress claims through the Official Injury Claim (OIC) and Ministry of Justice (MOJ) processes. Communicate regularly with customers, solicitors, legal representatives and other stakeholders. Provide clear guidance and explanations throughout the claims journey. Make appropriate decisions based on the circumstances and evidence available.

Ensure claims are progressed efficiently and in line with relevant processes and technical standards. Maintain a high level of customer service while working towards agreed service and performance targets. Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working within the claims function. Skills & Experience We're looking for candidates with:
Previous experience handling RTA personal injury claims end-to-end within an insurance, legal or claims environment. Strong knowledge of the Official Injury Claim (OIC) portal and MOJ claims process . Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to customers and stakeholders. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and varied caseload. Excellent attention to detail and a sound understanding of claims processes.

A customer-focused approach and experience working towards service, quality or performance targets. The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a wider team.
