Associate Broker

As an Associate Broker, you will assist with managing the placement and servicing of insurance business, building strong relationships with clients, insurers and global partners to deliver effective insurance solutions. You will support portfolio growth and retention through expert broking, negotiation, client advice and the delivery of high-quality service in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.

• Supports placement and servicing activities for straightforward to moderately complex risks under supervision.
• Develops an understanding of client businesses, risk exposures and insurance requirements.
• Reviewing client submissions and ability to undertake research to identify any changes in the client’s operations, risk profile including losses, financial position, or recent media and industry developments.
• Builds relationships with underwriters and supports market negotiations.
• Assists with placement strategy discussions and market submissions.
• Assists with client meetings, renewals and servicing activities.
• Supports documentation and placement administration.
• Develops knowledge of insurance products, markets and placement processes.
• Supports placement recommendations through market research and analysis.
• Supports client planning and strategy discussions, contributing relevant market and placement insights.
• Maintains effective relationships with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Shares knowledge and supports team activities, contributing to positive client and business outcomes.
• Maintains accurate client, policy and Salesforce records and ensures documentation is completed to required standards.

  Experience:
  
  Previous insurance experience with a solid foundation of principles and processes; preferred Casualty background with a focus on US, International or Retail.
• Excel: Strong capability in analysing complex datasets, identifying trends, and presenting findings through clear summaries, tables, and reports.
