Delegated Authority Producing Broker

Our client is an independent Lloyd's broker that makes decisions for the long term, backs its people's ideas, and moves quickly when the right opportunity appears. With a growing presence across wholesale, delegated authority and specialist markets, they're now looking for a senior producer to drive the next stage of growth in their delegated authority division.
This is a front-line, revenue-generating role with direct access to the CEO. You'll originate and win new delegated authority business from MGAs, Coverholders, brokers and insurance clients, and grow existing relationships. You'll set your own business development strategy, negotiate and place Binding Authorities, Lineslips and delegated underwriting arrangements (plus associated reinsurance), and represent the business at market meetings and industry events.
You'll work closely with technical, operations, compliance and claims teams to onboard new facilities and programmes smoothly, and you'll have the freedom to design innovative placement solutions for your clients.

• A strong track record of broking delegated authority business in the London Market, with a book of profitable new business you've won.
• An established network across Lloyd's syndicates, company markets, MGAs, Coverholders and capacity providers.
• Deep knowledge of Binding Authorities, Lineslips and facilities, along with Lloyd's delegated authority processes and governance.
• Experience negotiating with London and international markets, and a solid grasp of FCA conduct standards.
• An entrepreneurial, self-driven approach: you spot opportunities, convert them, and hold yourself accountable for results.
• ACII, or progress towards professional qualifications, is preferred.
