Join our Claims Summer Internship Program within our Financial Lines team and gain valuable insight into the claims process in the exciting world of insurance.

Our UK Summer Internship Program will run from 14 June to 6 August 2027.

** About the AIG Early Career Programme
** AIG’s Summer Interns are immersed in the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving, global insurance company. During the 8-week program, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience and insurance industry knowledge, working with leaders on dynamic projects, with plenty of opportunity for challenges, learning and achievement.

Summer Interns join one of our key business teams, which offers a unique opportunity to obtain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment. In addition to meaningful on-the-job experiences, interns will join instructor-led masterclasses, hear directly from senior leaders, and build meaningful connections through mentoring circles, networking events and volunteering.
Following completion of the internship program, interns may be considered for a permanent role in the Graduate Analyst program beginning in September 2028.  
** What you’ll do
*** Learn the process of claims handling
* Support your team with claims administration and providing our clients with excellent service
* Gain exposure to industry systems, processes and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with other interns and your wider team on projects
* Build a strong internal network
* Participate in training sessions, networking events and mentoring opportunities
** What you’ll need to succeed
*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2028.
* Previous work or volunteering experience in any industry or sector
* Evidence of extra-curricular activities
* A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Motivated, proactive, accountable and willing to learn
