Thesuccessfulcandidatewillberesponsibleforhandlingavarietyof Engineering and Construction claimsfromaroundtheworld,andadjustingclaimsfromtheirinitialnotificationthroughsettlement.
Key Responsibilities- Proactivelyadjustingclaimsthroughtoresolution.
- Ensuringthatsufficientfinancialprovisionsareheldforallclaims.
- Developingcollaborativeworkingrelationshipswithinternalandexternalstakeholders,inparticularwiththe
Underwriters and
Actuaries. - EnsuringeffectivetechnicaloversightofTPAs/Service Providersviaregularcontactmeetings,peer reviews,aswellastechnicalfilereviews.
- Instructingandproactivelyworkingwith Panel Lawyers ,Adjusters,and Expertstoensurethebestoutcomeswhilstcontrollingcostsandreducingclaimsleakage.
- AClaims Handlerwithextensivepriorexperienceof Engineering and or Construction claims adjusting.
- Understandingofpolicycoverage,claimsnegotiationskillsandclaimsstrategy.
- Understandingandapplyinglegal,regulatoryandterritorialissues.
- Usingstronganalyticalandproblemsolvingskills.
- Knowledgeofthe Lloyd'sinsurancemarketispreferred.
- Actingwithhonesty,integrityandfairnessatalltimeswiththewillingnesstotakeresponsibilityandaccountability.
- Apositive,enthusiasticandconfidentdisposition.
