Fluent Speakers of Languages: Voice Recordings in South East

In person, South East London only. Not remote.

You must have the right to do freelance or self-employed work in the UK. Please check your visa conditions before applying. Most Student visas don't allow freelance work; the Graduate visa does.

I'm recording improvised conversations between two people, based on short prompts, for a voice AI training project. You and a partner chat naturally in the language you speak most naturally, guided by a director, in a relaxed, professional home studio in South East London. No acting experience is needed, just natural, everyday speech.

The recordings are used for internal AI research and testing. Your voice won't be cloned or used in public-facing products.

£100 per finished hour of conversation. A session is about 3 hours and produces 1.5–2 finished hours, so roughly £150–£200 per person per session. Daytime, evening, and weekend sessions are available, and there may be more sessions over the coming months.

Mandarin, Taiwanese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Tagalog/Filipino, Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Arabic, Hebrew, Turkish, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Portuguese.

You'll need full fluency (CEFR C2) in the language you apply for, with a natural, everyday accent. Applying with a friend who speaks the same language is ideal, since sessions are recorded in pairs, but you can also apply on your own.
