You will be joining a friendly and driven team who will support you in driving your career forward! Your new role Finalising invoices and credit notes in the financial system as per the Firm’s procedures Loading finalised invoices to various clients' systems for invoice processing Managing the invoice mailbox, responding to queries on bills sent and passing on to the relevant Fee Earner/PA to assist where appropriate Posting client to office transfers in the finance system and arranging the relevant bank transfers in the Firm’s bank portal Following month's end close, reviewing WIP reports provided by Finance and taking the following actions;
Liaising with Fee Earners on WIP over a pre-determined period to determine if billable and working with the Fee Earner to convert WIP to fees Checking that comments from previous month's reviews have been actioned Managing WIP write-offs/retrospective WIP to bill allocations as per the Firm's procedures Attending WIP Management meetings with senior stakeholders of the business What you'll need to succeed 1–2 years' experience in billings.
