Senior Associate - Intellectual Property

Our intellectual property department has an opportunity for an experienced and commercially-minded IP lawyer to join the team at Senior Associate level.

The successful candidate will be experienced at handling IP disputes and litigation, with a focus on trade marks, passing off, copyright, and designs.

They will work directly with two partners and a team of talented associates in our London and Manchester offices and will have daily exposure to high quality work from clients in the sports, fashion and brands space.

This role would appeal to an entrepreneurial and commercially-minded lawyer, who enjoys working in a down-to-earth team with a lively culture. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for solving problems for busy clients.

• Managing and advising on IP disputes and litigation relating to trade marks and passing off, copyright, design rights, patents.

This role would suit an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate who has specialised in intellectual property for at least 5 years, in a fast-paced client-focused environment.

The candidate will have:

• Good academic credentials including the Oxford University Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Lawalendar & Practice (or equivalent
