Senior or Principal Associate - Agribusiness Real Estate

Level: Senior Associate (5+ PQE) or Principal Associate (8+ PQE)

Location: London

Contract: Full-time, permanent

A leading, top ranked UK Real Estate team is looking to hire an experienced Senior Associate or Principal Associate to join a specialist Agribusiness practice in London. The work is high value, often complex, and spans premium rural, estate and strategic land matters, with early client and agent contact and real responsibility for running deals.

You can expect a broad mix of Agribusiness Real Estate work, including:

• Sale and purchase of agricultural land, farms and estates
• Investment acquisitions and disposals, plus development projects
• Complex strategic land and hybrid promotion arrangements
• Agricultural and business tenancies
• Farming partnerships and rural business structures
• Renewables and energy related property projects
• Mineral leases and related interests
• Refinancing transactions for landowners and rural sector businesses
• Exposure to equine property matters (useful, but not essential)

You will advise a high calibre client base across the rural economy, including institutional landowners, education sector clients, charities, family offices, trustees and owners of significant estates, plus established farming and agribusiness operations.

• 5-8+ PQE with strong Real Estate experience (large regional or City background preferred)
• Solid grounding in agricultural property work
• Interest in topics such as farming, food security, energy, natural resources and rural investment
• Confidence running complex matters with a structured, commercial approach
• Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Appetite for business development and deepening client adviser relationships
