Financial Lines​/D&O Senior Associate

The Client:

A leading international law firm with a strong reputation in complex commercial insurance work, particularly across financial lines. The firm advises major global insurers and reinsurers on high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes, with a well-established FI/D&O practice.

This leading international law firm is looking to bolster its Financial Lines practice in London with the addition of a Senior Associate with 5+ years of experience. The firm has offices across the UK and internationally and is recognised for its work across complex commercial insurance lines.

Candidates should have litigation and dispute resolution experience in any one or more of the following insurance lines of coverage: financial institutions, directors & officers' liability, professional liability, political risk and other similar coverage lines.

Working with the firm’s lead partners, this is an opportunity to take a leading role in the development of the team’s current client list in addition to being integral to the strategic growth over the coming years.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience defending FI/D&O claims.
• Experience of coverage.
• Experience of working in a leading City or Regional insurance group.
• Relocating lawyers with relevant experience would be of great interest.
• Strong legal and analytical skills.
• A genuine collaborative outlook and desire to work as part of a team.
• Confident and assured client ability.
• Ability to manage and prioritise own case load.
