Lawyer - Private Funds - FTC

About the role

Our client is a leading global law firm are recruiting for an experienced Knowledge Director to join a market leading Private Funds practice on a maternity cover basis. The team advises fund managers and selected institutional investors on the structuring and fundraising of closed ended private funds across asset classes including private equity, real assets, credit and emerging markets.

This is a senior, strategic role focused on maintaining and enhancing the group's global knowledge offering and supporting the practice's continued growth.

• Overseeing and developing global knowledge resources, precedents and templates
• Driving innovation and efficiency in knowledge management
• Working closely with partners, fee earners, knowledge and information teams
• Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and coordinating training
• Contributing to thought leadership, client briefings and industry engagement
• Supporting business development and client training initiatives

You will be a qualified lawyer or PSL with strong experience in private fund formation, ideally within closed-ended fund structures and related regulatory frameworks. You will bring a proactive, collaborative approach and the confidence to operate at a senior level within a high-performing international practice.
