Associate / Senior Associate - Employment

Tribunal-Focused | Respondent Work | Up to £70,000 + Bonus

Hybrid – London (Croydon) or Manchester | 2–3 Days in Office Per Week

We’re partnering with a highly regarded national law firm to appoint an experienced Employment Solicitor to join their Employment & Regulatory team. This opening follows the departure of a long-serving team member, creating a ready-made caseload and strong client relationships to step into from day one.

This is a standout opportunity for a seasoned litigator to focus almost entirely on Employment Tribunal work for respondent clients — without the distraction of business development targets or pressure to cross-sell.

The Role

• Lead on complex Employment Tribunal claims across sectors such as healthcare, social care, and leisure
• Focused exclusively on respondent-side litigation — including discrimination, whistleblowing, and unfair dismissal
• Join a Legal 500-recognised team known for its technical strength and supportive working culture
• Hybrid working model with 2–3 days a week in the Manchester or Croydon (London) office

What We’re Looking For

• 4-6+ years’ PQE in employment law with substantial Tribunal litigation experience
• Confident managing respondent matters independently from instruction to hearing
• Strong in advocacy, drafting, and client handling
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a technically demanding, fast-paced environment
