Associate – Corporate Commercial

Kennedys is looking for a talented 3–5 PQE Corporate Associate to join our growing Corporate commercial team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative and ambitious corporate and commercial practice, working with a market‑leading client base across the insurance and wider commercial sectors.

As an associate in our Transactions & Advisory group, you will play a key role in advising clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including:

• M&A transactions (both domestic and cross‑border)
• Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
• Joint ventures and strategic investments
• Corporate advisory work for insurers and financial services clients
• General company law and corporate governance matters
• Commercial contracts

You will be open to a range of transactions and advisory work, focusing principally on corporate and commercial matters, with the opportunity for personal responsibility and development.

You will work closely with partners and colleagues both in the UK and across Kennedys' international network, supporting high-quality work in a team known for its commercial approach and sector expertise.

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

• 3–5 years' PQE gained within a strong corporate practice
• Solid experience in M&A and broader corporate and commercial advisory work
• Excellent technical and drafting skills
• A proactive, committed and team‑orientated mindset
• Strong commercial awareness and client‑facing confidence
• Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is advantageous but not essential.
