Employment Lawyer PQE

An established UK law firm is seeking an Employment Associate to join its growing team. This role offers a broad mix of contentious, advisory, corporate support, and investigation work, with strong exposure to high‑quality clients across both the public and private sectors. • Advising a broad client base including company owners, HR professionals, in-house counsel, senior employees, and public and private sector organisations
• Handling the full spectrum of employment law matters, including:
• Drafting employment documentation
• Advising on employee relations issues (disciplinaries, grievances, performance)
• Managing Employment Tribunal claims, including whistleblowing and discrimination cases
• Advising on dismissals, redundancies, and restructures
• Supporting corporate transactions including TUPE
• Conducting or supporting internal investigations
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Collaborating with colleagues across departments

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) or equivalent, ideally 1–4 PQE
• Experience across contentious, non‑contentious, and transactional employment matters
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and deliver practical, commercial advice
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Understanding of client expectations and relationship management
• Adaptability and willingness to work flexibly when required
