Senior Employment Associate 5+ PQE
We are working with a highly regarded international law firm on a new opportunity within their top tier employment team. The role sits within a well-established practice that advises on the full spectrum of employment law matters, both in the UK and internationally, and offers excellent long‑term progression for senior lawyers.
The team advises a diverse client base, including major national and international organisations, on complex and strategic employment issues. The workload is broad and sophisticated, encompassing senior executive exits, workplace investigations (including discrimination and harassment matters), trade union relations, and high‑value contentious and non‑contentious work.
In addition to domestic matters, you will gain significant exposure to cross‑border and international work including global restructurings and redundancies, employment strategy linked to EU‑derived frameworks, and the employment aspects of large‑scale corporate and outsourcing transactions. The team also plays a key role in supporting major corporate transactions, advising on the employment aspects of M&A, reorganisations and other strategic deals. The practice is well known for its collaborative approach and for acting as a trusted adviser on sensitive, business‑critical issues.
You will work closely with partners who are recognised leaders in the field, with a strong emphasis on strategic input, client‑facing responsibility and mentoring.
The team are also keen to hear from relocators from London.
This role is ideally suited to individuals with:- 5+ years’ post‑qualified experience (England & Wales)
- A strong employment law background gained at a leading national, international or high‑quality regional firm
- Experience across complex advisory work, with exposure to senior stakeholders and cross‑border matters being advantageous
You can expect high levels of partner contact, a genuinely supportive team culture, and access to challenging, high‑profile work for sophisticated clients.
Salary: £100,000 – £130,000 (depending on experience)
