Are you an experienced Childcare Paralegal or Adult Social Care Legal Assistant seeking a new challenge within a well-regarded London Council? This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong Public Law experience to work within a supportive local authority environment, handling meaningful and impactful work.

As Paralegal you will support the Childcare and Adult Social Care legal team, assisting with a varied caseload and providing high-quality legal and administrative support.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with care proceedings and adult social care matters
• Preparing court bundles and legal documentation
• Drafting correspondence and legal documents
• Liaising with counsel, social workers, clients, and external agencies
• Diary management

• Previous experience working as a Paralegal within Childcare and/or Adult Social Care law (essential)
• Experience with in a local authority childcare and/or adults’ legal team
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and court processes
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage a busy caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Must be immediately available

• 3-month temporary contract
• £18-25 per hour
• Hybrid working options- 2 days per week in the office
