A local authority based in London is seeking a Childcare Lawyer for an initial period of three months.
The council is seeking a qualified and experienced locum Childcare Lawyer who can start as soon as possible. In light of the recent judgment in the Mazur case, the locum Childcare Lawyer must either be a solicitor or barrister or Filex with litigation accreditation admitted in England & Wales, who holds a current practising certificate. You must be admitted to practice in the UK to be considered.
The successful Childcare Lawyer will undertake work including but not limited to: care proceedings, emergency protection orders, special guardianship, secure accommodation, deprivation of liberty and adoption. You will need to be able to attend the office for team meetings. Experience in this area is essential.
The rate on offer is between £45-55 umbrella per hour DOE.
