Employment Associate / Senior Associate - City of London
4–6 PQE
The OpportunityA highly regarded global law firm is looking to hire a 4–6 PQE employment lawyer to join its Legal 500/Chambers ranked London practice.
The team advises major corporates, financial institutions and international businesses on a broad range of employment matters, combining high-level advisory work with complex disputes and strategic projects. The team operates across a wide international platform and regularly collaborates with colleagues in key global financial centres on cross-border matters.
The work is varied and balanced across contentious and non-contentious matters. Associates in the team are typically involved in tribunal and High Court litigation, senior executive matters, corporate transactions and large scale workforce projects. The practice is also regularly instructed on complex investigations, restructuring programmes and employment issues arising from business transfers and outsourcing arrangements.
The London group is a close-knit team advising sophisticated clients on high value matters. Lawyers benefit from meaningful responsibility on matters, close partner interaction and the opportunity to play an active role in the continued development of the practice.
The role will suit someone who wants exposure to high quality employer-side work, a genuinely international client base and strong long-term progression within a well-established employment practice.
The CandidateYou will be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 4–6 years’ post qualification experience gained within a recognised employment practice.
Candidates should have experience advising corporate clients on the full spectrum of employment law matters. Strong exposure to transactional support is important, including advising on employment aspects of M&A, conducting employment due diligence and supporting corporate teams on deal related employment issues.
Experience advising on restructurings, collective redundancy exercises, workforce reorganisations and TUPE related matters would be particularly valuable.
You should be confident managing matters with increasing autonomy, comfortable working closely with colleagues across other practice areas and interested in contributing to the continued growth of the employment practice.
No need to send a CV. To organise an informal, confidential chat to discuss the role please reach out to Sarah Beard at Track Legal via Linked In.
