Location: Greater London

A well-established and highly regarded London law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its busy Property Department based in Whitechapel.

With a growing property team and an expanding client base, this is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Assistant with residential conveyancing experience to join a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to fee earners within a busy property team, assisting with a range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with the preparation of legal documentation for residential conveyancing transactions
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other third parties to progress matters efficiently
  • Supporting fee earners with post-exchange work and preparing files for completion
  • Providing general administrative and legal support across the department
  • Helping to ensure transactions progress smoothly and within required deadlines
Key requirements include:
  • Previous experience assisting fee earners with residential conveyancing matters at all stages of the transaction
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and work effectively under tight deadlines
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills
  • Confident liaising with clients and third parties
  • Good IT skills and attention to detail
